Bo Rocha // Real Kids

Bo Rocha ushers in the end of summer with this perfect, shadow-flecked jam, all auburn hues and nostalgia for a marginally less damp time. It’s taken from her forthcoming EP Hold My Gaze on Bait & Switch records – sure to be on show at her gig at Peckham Rye next Monday 12th September.

In other news (that admittedly has less importance for the future of the music industry), summer being over has one other consequence: cavorting around the world attached to a backpack is over, and so regular updates on new music on this blog will resume. They’ll be lighter on words, too, which I assume is a relief for everybody. Although there’s of course a need for in depth music criticism, that place is not here – a constant frustration of blogging for me has been the amount of new stuff I’d like to post being limited by time. This change should re-position that balance back in favour of music, rather than words.
